Gentle densification
In the product chamber two rotors are counter rotating. The
top rotor ensures a good mixture and conveys the material down.
The bottom extrusion rotor densifies the material and extrudes
it through the screen basket.
Product extruded with the Bextruder has a loose structure
with a large surface area and often good pliable properties
for the spheronisation.
For the optimum setting and to control the process the torque
is measured at the bottom extrusion rotor.
The extrusion screens have two working areas and are therefore
very economical. The nozzle diameters are available in the
range from 0,3
to 3 mm.
The rotors have plug connections to the drive shafts. All
parts are well accessible and can be changed easily. CIP /
WIP options are available. All parts in contact with the product
meet the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry and conform
to FDA.
